No wonder our world is full of parents who worry too much. I was browsing the US Consumer Product Safety Commission website and came across their long list of infant and kid items that were recalled. How many of you fill out the registration card that comes with toys and baby equipment? Companies recommend that you do in order to be informed of product recalls. But what if your item is second hand? You might be in the dark about potential dangers right?
The commission's recall list includes items from Cost Plus, JCpenny, Old Navy, and Toys R Us. I guess brand names don't ensure safety. I was surprised to see how many clothes and cribs have been recalled. Maybe it's better off if we start making things ourselves. Watch out for those hoodie drawstrings and babies falling out of carriers. Yikes!
