Moving Mom and Daughter Story
Thinking back of my own Vietnamese mom, she does practice "tough love" too. My mom shows her love through cooking and buying me knick knacks from discount stores. This recording definitely resonated with me, listen to A Mom's Tough Standard, Imported from Viet Nam.

Michael Jackson...a part of my childhood dies
You know I never really get emotional when celebrities die. When Aaliyah died, I certainly was very sad but I didn't cry. The news of MJ's death certainly shocked me, but the emotions didn't quite hit me until I heard his songs. First the radio was playing Man In the Mirror, and I thought about how great the lyrics were. Then I switched the station ,and Rock with You came on. This is probably my favorite MJ song, and I just started crying.
I remember when I was seven and my best friend had a birthday party. Her parents rented Thriller from the video store, and we watched it at least fifteen times that night. Or all those good times in my life when the DJ would play an MJ song, and I would dance with pure happiness.
He will be missed. Watch the Rock with You video.

Newborn Nostalgia
Recently I went to visit my sister-in-law who gave birth to a very cute Clementine. As soon as I entered the hospital, memories were triggered. I kept thinking about how I was there eight months ago. Remember those baby blankets with the rabbits, the striped hat, and the juice boxes on the bedside? Now Kai’s crawling and making attempts to stand up. Time does fly and I can barely keep him in my arms anymore. I realized those warm feelings validated the fact that I do want another child. Whoa, I didn’t think that I’d say that so soon. Children really do change people.
